Jerk Chicken Recipe
A traditional Jamaican method of cooking chicken you can sample Jerk Chicken all over Jamaica everywhere even by the roadside, tastes fantastic when slow roasted over Pimento branches on an open fire.
Recipe for Jerk Chicken
500g Chicken breast, 3-4 tsp Yabba Jerk Seasoning, Dash of oil. Score chicken breast.
- Mix the Jerk Seasoning with the oil. Rub the paste all over the chicken and leave for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
- Grill, bake or barbeque the seasoned chicken. Turn chicken over when one side is done.
- Serve with Plantain Chips, fresh tomatoes, onions and a fresh crispy green salad.
